Baku is a beautiful city with very good infrastructure and services. The Baku circuit can be found literally in the historical heart of the capital of Azerbaijan.
The address of the circuit is 93 Zarifa Aliyeva, Baku, Azerbaijan
Driving in Azerbaijan isn't exactly easy, but once you have got the right knowledge before hitting the roads (in your car, a rental car from Azerbaijan or a rental car in a neighbouring country), there are miles of highways to explore.
The authorities are keen to attract visitors and have invested heavily in the country's infrastructure, meaning that driving in Baku in particular is similar to any cosmopolitan city in Europe. The 58,000km road network is in varying states of repair, however, roads in and around Baku are generally of a high standard, although, roads outside Baku can be in very poor condition so caution is advised.
The standard speed limits in Azerbaijan are:
Passenger cars (up to 3.5 t)
- city centre - 60 km/h
- outside the village - 90 km/h
- on a road with two lanes in one direction - 90 km/h
- on a motorway - 110 km/h
- in residential areas - maximum 20 km/h.
